but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" Micah 6:8

Today's Question
Christianity Today's Vision Project posed this question in 2007:
"What must we learn, and unlearn, to be agents of God's mission in the world?"
i so don't have a good answer for this les... i was going to write something funny like, "i don't know.... use cloth diapers?" but I thought that might seem callous.
I guess I'll stick with the simple... learn how to apply God's word to our practical lives and unlearn how to be so selfish and small minded... meaning not thinking about the world around us.
Jim Palmer has a lovely chapter in his book "Divine Nobodies" about hearing the cry of the oppressed. He mentions the moment he realized he had spent most of his Christian life trying to be more Christ like while never caring about what broke the heart of Christ. May we be a generation of people who call evil what it is and spend our lives to end it.

Hmm... Good question.
Learn- That as Christians we are not our own.
Unlearn- Tolerating what God calls evil.
Thanks for stopping by Hal.
