Wedding Weekend Recap

We had so much fun on our wedding weekend. We welcomed many friends and family from all over the midwest and southeast for our Rehearsal Dinner at the University of Tennessee's Down Under and wedding at Second United Methodist Church and the Historic L&N Station.

It all started with pizza and bowling at UT.
Since we are both from St. Louis, but live in Knoxville we blended our two hometowns for the Rehearsal dinner. Stefano's Pizza and Moon Pie's from Tennessee added to the St. Louis traditions of Gooey Butter Cake and Vess Soda.

The wedding day started with a bridesmaid breakfast at the Hilton and then getting ready with my family.

We decided to do all of our pictures before the ceremony so that we could spend more time together. We had our first look at the Downtown Hilton and then traipsed around the city to our favorite places.
On our way to take pictures we saw two of my favorite people checking in to the hotel. Katie and Rachel and I met as summer camp counselors eleven years ago.
We took our traditional pictures at Cafe 4 because it is the place where Andy initially told me about his feelings. And, it is super cool.

Jenny, Jenny and Austyn are my lifelong best friends

We had so much fun dancing the night away!

The LL & LB piggy back tradition had to happen on my wedding day!

Our place cards and train whistles were one of my favorite details. We asked guests to, "give their whistle a toot to make the newlyweds kiss!"

A wonderful night!
